- Build strong study habits now. Good grades open doors to future opportunities, whether it's college, trade school, or other paths.
- Meet with your teachers if you're struggling in any subject. Don't wait until it's too late!
- Start Thinking About Your Future (No Pressure!):
- Begin exploring different careers that might interest you. Online resources like Naviance and the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook can be helpful.
- Think about what kind of lifestyle you envision for yourself.
- Develop Essential Skills:

- Get Involved in Your Community:
